Usage
Place {{Lead too short|date=November 2024}}
at the top of articles where the lead section is much shorter than what is recommended, relative to the length of the article. The appropriate length of the lead section depends on the total length of the article. If the lead fails to provide an adequate summary of the article's key points, without necessarily being too short, use the template {{Inadequate lead}} instead.
When placing this template on an article page, you are strongly encouraged to begin a discussion on the corresponding talk page so that other editors can get a sense of why you believe the lead is too short and so they can address this issue. Any editor may remove this tag if he/ she believes it is unwarranted or upon expanding the lead and addressing any concerns brought up in a talk page discussion of the lead.
